IFP7 bestows a platform where you get to exhibit your exhilarating travel videos, peppy wedding lip dubs, those hilarious web sketches, astounding animations and motion graphics, impressive food videos and what not. You name it and we take it in this category.

Short Films

Did you make amazing short films around the year and want to show it to a larger audience? IFP7 introduces a competitive platform to submit your short films. The winning films get screened to a live audience – Make your dream come true.

The film submitted should be of maximum 20 minutes in duration.
The film should be a work of fiction.

Last date to Submit – 31st August, 2017.

Music Videos

Music videos are the eye-catchers of web, and millions of music videos out there have been adding zing to peppy numbers. Lot many of us, engage in producing music videos, covers for our friends or as a part of our professional engagements. Submit your music video at IFP7 and take home the trophy.

The video submitted should be of maximum 10 minutes in duration.
All genres of music videos are accepted in this category.

Ads, Brand film or Corporate films

Brand films are a re-invention of storytelling which creates a unique growth opportunity for organizations. Make a film, tell a story, define a brand. You will have the opportunity to submit a brand film or a corporate film or an advertisement that you have made for your clients.

Ever seen those movie trailers and thought you could do better? Here’s your chance! Make a trailer for any movie of your choice and compete against the best.

Food and Travel videos

Have a hidden chef in you? Want to dazzle the world with your culinary skills? Make some lip smacking food, recreate some recipes with a twist and create a snack-sized film while you’re at it. Go ahead and submit all the videos you made throughout the year and get a shot at getting them showcased.

Send in travel videos that you have made about those untamed mountains, the deep blue oceans or those dense forests. Bring in anything that you have shot related to travelling and adventure during this year and get a chance to be screened at the festival.

Wedding and Celebration Videos

There’s not much that’s bigger and glorious than a big fat Indian wedding! Capture those innocent and lovely moments between the bride and groom during their pre-wedding shoots, show the special bond they share.

Wedding lip-dubs are the latest trend to rule the wedding market. It’s pretty much like a Bollywood song – make the bride, groom and their guests the hero and heroines! Lip-sync to the latest peppy bollywood song and groove to its beats.

Festivals and celebrations go hand in hand. Capture those energetic and fun fueled moments during various festivals celebrated around the world and send it to us and get a chance to get featured at the festival.

Rules of this Competition

1. Below genres are accepted in this category:
Short Films, Music Videos, Advertisements, Brand films or Corporate films, Animated videos or Motion graphics, Fan-made movie trailers, Food or Travel videos, Web sketches, Web Series, Weddings or Celebration Shoots and anything under the sun which you have shot.
2.The films will be judged on the basis of creativity, innovation, scripting, cinematography, and execution.
3. The best videos will be screened at the festival to the audiences as well as online across IFP Community. Awards will be given to top three entries in each category.
4. Entries are open for participants from across the globe.
5. The video submitted should be of maximum 20 minutes in duration for Short Films and Web Sketches, and maximum of 10 minutes for other categories.
6. The video should have been shot on or after 1st September 2016.
7. The submitted video will be strictly restricted to the curator of competition.
8. The entries for the competition will close on 31st August 2017.
9. India Film Project and Project Parties may, in their sole discretion, disqualify Films deemed to be inappropriate or otherwise non-compliant.
10. Films containing prohibited or inappropriate content as determined by the IFP, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate will be disqualified.


All participants who submit films shall receive Certificate of Participation via email after the fest.
